                     crested Phrygian helmet decorated with centauress; monogram behind neck // Lion standing left, feeding;

                                      Very nice specimen with full crescent and legends. Very fine with charming toning   200.-

              10     BRUTTIUM. Kroton.  Nomos circa 530-500  BC.  7,97 g. Tripod, legs surmounted by wreaths and
                     terminating in lion's feet, set on basis of three lines, the center dotted; to right, heron standing left //
                     Incuse tripod as obverse, but wreaths in relief; to right,  heron  standing  left.  HN  Italy  2093;  SNG
                     Ashmolean 1467; SNG Lloyd 596.                     Extremely fine with charming toning   350.-

              12     AGRIGENTUM (AKRAGAS). Hemitron circa 400-380 BC. 18,08 g. Diademed and horned head of the
                     river-god Akragas left // Eagle standing left, with head reverted, on Ionic capital; in left field, crab and in
                     right field, six pellets. SNG ANS 1097.                                 Very fine   50.-

              13     GELA. Tetradrachm circa 425-420 BC. 17,32 g. Nike driving quadriga moving slowly to the left, holding
                     the  reins with both hands; above, laurel wreath // Forepart of the river-god Gelas, in the form of a
                     man-headed bull, to right; below, heron standing right. HGC 2, 352; Jenkins, Gela, Group VII, 459/3 (this
                     specimen on plate 26).                     Very fine - extremely fine with charming toning  1.000.-
