              13     Alfonso V of Aragon, King of Naples, 1442-1458. Cast bronze medal, undated (around 1456). (Ø 74,6
                     mm; 172 gr) ALFONSVS REX REGIBVS IMPERANS ET BELLORVM VICTOR. Bust right resting on a
                     crown, wearing rich cuirass decorated with two winged figures holding a medallion, a groupe of centaur
                     carrying a nymph, and a Medusa head ; mantle over shoulders. Pearled border // VICTOREM REGNI
                     MARS ET BELLONA CORONANT. Alfonso crowned by Mars and Bellona : Alfonso wearing antique
                     armour and mantle, seated three-quarters right on  cippus decorated with sphinxes ; holding sword
                     upright in right, orb in left. On left, Bellona (as Victory) places a spiked crown on his head ; the crown
                     also held by Mars, nude, wearing helmet, girt with a rope, carrying trophy in left over his shoulder, and
                     moving rapidly to right. On under-slope of exergue: CHRISTOPHORVS HIERIMIA. Pearled border.

                     (around 1475), Rome. (Ø 42,3 mm; 40,29 gr) IOANNES ALOISIVS TVSCA AVDITOR CAM. Bust left,
                     wearing  round cap and close fitting gown. Pearled border // VICTA IAM NVRSIA FATIS AGITVR.
                     Neptune, nude, mantle arched over his head, holding trident in right, dolphin in left, to front in sea-car
                     drawn by two sea-horses ; two dolphins in the waves. Pearled border.   Very fine old cast   200.-
