3 h). Diademed and veiled bust of Philistis to left; behind, wreath // Nike driving slow quadriga to right,
holding reins in both hands. SNG ANS 872 (same dies); Jenkins, Enna hoard, SNR 62 (1983), pl. 2, 23
(same dies). Extremely fine with sharp details 2.000.-

2 KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip III, 323-316 BC. Tetradrachm 323-317 BC, Babylon. Struck under
Archon, Dokimos or Seleukos I. (Silver, 27 mm, 17.02 g, 12 h). Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion
skin headdress // Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle standing
right with closed wings in his right; to left, M; below throne, AY. Price 181.
Extremely fine with charming portrait and patina 750.-

3 THE ISLANDS OF THE THRACIAN SEA. Thasos. Tetradrachm 2nd - 1st century BC. (Silver, 32 mm,
16.80 g, 11 h). Head of Dionysus right, crowned with ivy, wearing mitra (cloth headband) // Herakles,
nude, standing facing, head left, left arm draped with lion skin, resting right hand on grounded club; MH
monogram in inner left field. SNG Copenhagen 1040. Attractive specimen. Very fine with nice details 350.-
