5 MYSIA. PARION. Hemidrachm ca. 4th century BC. (Silver, 13,7 mm, 2,49 g, 6 h). Cow standing to left,
her head turned back to right to lick her flanks // Facing gorgoneion with protruding tongue, with a snake
coiled outwards on either side of her head and two confronted snakes below her chin. BMC 14-16; SNG
Paris 1356-1357; SNG von Aulock 1319. Extremely fine with charming toning 250.-

Venus to right, wearing earring and pearl necklace; behind, S C // C NAE BALB / LXXVIII. Victory

Virtually as struck. Good extremely fine with sharp details and charming mint luster 100.-
